In the beginning, Classic Norway only had two hotels; Hustadvika Guest House and Bjorligard Hotel.
\nAs the idea of developing and establishing more hotels that would collectively represent the diversity of our exciting region matured, it became a natural development to buy, build and develop more hotels that fit into this concept.<\/p>\n

In 2004, H\u00e5holmen in Aver\u00f8y municipality was bought. This listed fishing village with a history dating back to the 18th century was also owned and run by the famous adventurer Ragnar Thorseth.<\/p>\n

Ona Havstuer, Finn\u00f8y Havstuer and Molde Fjordstuer joined the small hotel chain in 2006.<\/p>\n

Angvik Gamle Handelssted is a small pearl by the Tingvollfjord in Nordm\u00f8re that was built and restored and in May 2007 built and reserved with its 37 rooms. The hotel offers a perfect balance between exclusivity and an informal homely atmosphere. In 2007, Angvik Gamle Handelssted was built and restored, and in May 2008 we bought the charming and venerable Hotell Utsikten in Geiranger, which opened its doors to guests as early as 1891.<\/p>\n

In 2013, Classic Norway bought the hotels Henningsv\u00e6r Bryggehotell and Nyv\u00e5gar Rorbuhotell\u00a0in Lofoten.
\nAfter one year of construction, we opened the newly built Valldal Fjordhotell in the summer of 2016.<\/p>\n

On 1 March 2017, we could proudly welcome Strand Hotel Fevik into the Classic Norway Hotels chain.<\/p>\n

Classic Norway Hotels is both humble and proud of the acquisition of the venerable Hotell Refsnes Gods with a history dating back to 1767. The estate that became David Chrystie is located on Jel\u00f8ya outside Moss.<\/p>\n

Sagafjord Hotel will become part of Classic Norway Hotels on 1 January 2020. Nature, culture and history are the foundation of Classic Norway Hotels and Sagafjord Hotel fits perfectly into this concept.<\/p>\n

On 2 January 2021, we got a new hotel in the chain. Grand Hotell Bellevue in \u00c5ndalsnes was acquired in a so-called “joint venture” between Classic Norway Hotels and Romsdalen AS. Romsdalen AS is owned, among other things, by Norsk Reiseselskap, Rauma municipality, Fjord Tours Group and others.<\/p>\n

After perceptive renovation, it will become a modern boutique hotel run by Classic Norway Hotels. On Friday 21 January 2022, hotel director Hanna Stenberg and her colleagues could finally welcome the boutique hotel Aksjem\u00f8llen and welcome guests with 11 newly renovated floors in the center of Lillehammer.<\/p>\n

The latest addition to the chain is M\u00f8lla Hotell in Lillehammer.
\nM\u00f8lla Hotell in Lillehammer has reopened under its new name Aksjem\u00f8llen!
